Who wants a Starbucks planner? :)
Yohoho everyone! A rather belated Merry Christmas to all! I may not be updating at all, but Southbound (and its remaining three readers) is never far from my mind. My wish for 2010 is to get it back up and running actively–with the forums, an updated directory, regular features, everything we envisioned from the very beginning. When that happens, I’ll count on you guys who are still making the regular pilgrimage to the site (or are subscribed via RSS) to spread the word.
In the meantime, to share some Christmas (New Year!) love, I’m giving away my Starbucks planner this year. I earned this by spending countless evenings working and countless mornings “driving through” at Starbucks Madrigal (and while this branch has kept me alive the second half of this year, I miss my regular drive-far-to-visit branch in Las Pinas–hi Ed and Kelly!). I actually have two, but I’ve already reserved the other one for curious_girl, the first person to express an interest in the planner. :D
So… no idea how I’m going to choose who to give this to–I’m making up the rules as I go along here. Leave a comment below if you want it; that counts as one entry (you can leave multiple comments, but if it’s down to the same email address, that still just counts as one). Just to cast the net far and wide, you get four entries if you also post about this (and include a link) on your blog, or share it via Facebook, or retweet, or whatever it is that’s now done on the internet to get the word out–just leave a comment below with a link to your sharing post (naturally I have to be able to see it, so I guess that means either a public profile or being friends with the Southbound account–for Facebook, the email address is southbound.ph@gmail.com; for Twitter the account name is southboundph). Please make sure your comment has a valid email address associated with it (the form asks you to enter it) so you can be notified if you win. :)
As much as possible I want to give the planner away before 2010 arrives (yes, I know, I’m the queen of procrastination, hehehe), though since the site has been veeery inactive lately, some people think it’s dead, and I probably won’t get a very warm response… so the compromise is, I’ll do the draw on December 31 if there are already 100 entries (via comment and sharing) available. If not, then I’ll have to wait a little more. So please do share! :D
Oh, and because I’m still officially a Twitter dunce, and don’t know how to find people to follow yet, please follow me, or add me up, or whatever it is they say, and I will do the same. ;) Ah. And can anyone teach me how to tweet via mobile? :D

Just moments ago, I was fixing my things I’ll be bringing with me to Starbucks for my weekly study time. When my little brother heard that I was going to Starbucks, he hurriedly went down the stairs to get his school bag, went up and handed me his card with only 5 stickers on it. He asked me if I was really going to Starbucks, and that if I could put stickers on his barely-full card.
While waiting in the line at Starbucks, I browsed the back of the card and read: “Stickers may be obtained from November 4, 2009 to January 6, 2010″. I looked at the date and realized tomorrow’s my brother’s last chance to get a hand of that Starbucks 2010 Planner he’s been wanting to have for a long time now.
It would be impossible for him to finish collecting all the stickers by himself by tomorrow, that is why I googled “Starbucks 2010 Planner” so I came across your site. So I decided to join this contest, keeping my fingers crossed, that I may win this contest for my little brother, for him to have a nice planner to use all throughout the year. :)

I’ve always wanted a Starbucks planner, but being independent takes alot from me, so I just can’t afford one. I won’t expect much but I’ll be reposting this on my facebook and twitter and hopefully I can get my very first Starbucks Planner ever. Thanks!

After ilang days na hindi maayos ang tulog at pagod ng katawan kakapabalik-balik at palitan namin magkapatid sa pagbantay sa papa ko (due to surgical repair operation) sa hospital, this is a very nice reward to get.

I thought of BUYING one but now I ended up waiting for something that I really, really WANTED.
i go to serenity at least twice a week! try winter melon milk tea with full sugar plus chicken chops and oh, the deep fried basil is back!
